DNA Manufacturing Solutions has a specific localization for the Chinese market. In PRC are applied the Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS), also known as Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises (ASBE), which refer to IFRS principles, but with some differences. DNA adheres to all main ERP management rules of the PRC.

All ERP windows, user messages and prints can be shown both in European and Chinese language, according to the language known by the user; this important feature allows to have, at same time, connections in different languages and allows Chinese users to work with their own language, overcoming the constraint of having employees speaking a European language. The language translation occurs not only in the ERP labels but also in the main master data (product items, payments methods,...). The Chinese Language version used is the simplified one, for this reason DNA ERP adopts the Unicode standard.

Below we list some peculiarities all available in DNA ERP Core China GAAP product:

CHART OF ACCOUNTS
The Chart of accounts structure is fixed and standard, only a small part of it can be defined by the Company. DNA ERP is ready for this standard.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The Financial Statement must be prepared monthly and reported to Tax Bureau with a predefined structure. At month end a Income statement accounts closure is performed and the period is locked. With DNA it is still possible creating other different financial statements for internal use only.

ASSETS MANAGEMENT
Fixed Assets depreciation calculation is run monthly and it is based on asset life duration and not on the percentage of yearly depreciation.

INVOICING
It is common policy issuing the invoice after the payment of the customer to avoid the booking of credit notes. For this reason DNA is able to issue proforma invoices, useful to manage the financial dues correctly.

LANGUAGE HANDLING
Not only the application labels can be managed in different languages, but even the print documents can be issued in the different languages. This way you can manage several languages at the same time to issue documents, according to business partner preferred language. The main commercial documents should be issued both in Chinese and in English language for each text they contain.

INVENTORY
The inventory and production bookkeeping can never be separated from the general ledger, because any warehouse, production and outsourcing transaction creates an accounting booking: this means the bookkeeping is always aligned to warehouse situation. According to ERP setting any difference between the value of the vendor invoice or the production deposit and the value of the order or the standard costs, generates variance bookings. The inventory pricing can be run with different criteria, but mainly the average price or standard price with the systematic survey on cost variance. The handling purchase costs are directly charged to cost of goods.
